I don't know what he's looking at, but it must be pretty awesome.
Maybe it's your mom. You know, or your face.

Would you believe me if I said I drew this yesterday?
... No?
That's okay, I wouldn't believe me either. I was doing homework all day and then I fell asleep and woke up at 4am to Relient K music playing on my iTunes xD
Even though I didn't draw this yesterday... :
I did draw this for part of my homework.. It was late and I was rushed/sleepy, lol:

The rock candy that I opened 20 minutes ago... I decided to draw it before I consumed its massive amounts of sugar.
It's cotton candy.
^_^;;

I actually, kind of, fell asleep before I could do my DEDA yesterday >.< [/fail]
But here's a kitty that I drew today?! lol

[Lack of Understanding(Bicycles + Proportion)^2] x (5 Minute Sketch) = DEDA today. Ewwww math!

Breaking your own heart immediately before bed is a practice I would not recommend. This is Ben and his ex-best friend Nick, around the age of ten. They were excellent trouble makers in their youth. So good they ruined their own friendship. The extremely apropos "In Memoriam" by Everybody Else inspired this scene. Maybe when I am not T -34 for bedtime I will do a finished rendition of this.

Contrary to popular belief, I did not rush this piece. I simply drew it very quickly on a fast food napkin with the first marker I could find. It was in the interest of going to bed sooner. See? Not rushed at all.
Here we have: Clown Sun; Space Worm; Green Lantern; Happy Dog; Cyborg Zombie; Robot Ghost; and Dapper Bat.

Was this technically drawn on the 4th? Yes.
Did I copy the images directly from other sources? Yes.
And are these two characters still awesome despite the fact that I didn't copy them that wonderfully at all? Most definitely.
Hopefully I'll come up with something better tomorrow.

Super quick sketch for today's drawing. I wanted to get this up early because I'm headed out to a show 1.5 hours away and probably won't want to draw something when I get back later tonight. DEEP BREATH.

Meet another character from my script, Olive. She actually belongs to my wonderfully creative friend Liz, who has agreed to donate her likeness to my cause. She's an integral part of Ben's story for reasons I shall not further expand upon... NO SPOILERS
Despite the fact that cheating and scribbling was involved in this drawing, I found it much easier to draw with straight up ink instead of doing pencils and sketching and all that first. I usually find that to be true (especially with markers... oh markers.) I've learned to draw all wrong.

I'm jealous of you guys! I wish I could draw like you.. If I'm not looking off of something, most everything I do turns out terrible. >.<
Today, I drew my keys! Unfortunately my lighting isn't very good at the moment.

Nate! I don't think I've ever told you how much I admire your minimalist drawing style. Well, I say minimalist because I feel mine is quite cluttered in comparison. I like how your pen strokes are so confident and definite that one line is often all it takes to convey part of whatever it is you're drawing. I tried to do something similar tonight but um... it didn't work.

Raeanna and Ben from my graphic novel. (Surprise surprise.) They were chosen for their high school yearbook's Best Friends Senior superlative spread. I suspect that this may be one of the pictures they took.
