Ugh! How's about a buncha crap for baseline reference~? I figure if I force myself to suck openly, maybe I will start to suck less at some point. I haven't drawn anything seriously in a LONG, LOOONG time, and when I sat down to tackle today's piece, I had absolutely no idea where to start. I found that extremely disturbing. Thus I plan to spend this month cleaning away the rust, and FINISHING STRONG THROUGH THE END, DANG IT. (Haven't done that since 2009.)
I provided two samples because I've always felt more comfortable with on-the-fly marker art than carefully thought out pieces. The marker art subject matter ("A squirrel standing on an elephant") was provided by my lovely friend Jennifer.
